Bench
Build a live case with weighted pros and cons so Tip Index makes the current lean visible.
Local-first decision bench
Weigh choices. Learn outcomes.
A structured place to weigh consequential choices, price the cost of being wrong, write to your future self, and learn from what actually happened.
What it does
Decision Ledger turns scattered pros and cons into a repeatable loop: weigh, price the error, write ahead, revisit, and calibrate.
Build a live case with weighted pros and cons so Tip Index makes the current lean visible.
Add severity, reversibility, and stake to see the cost of being wrong before committing.
Write a 3, 6, or 12 month letter that locks your expectations in place before hindsight edits the story.
Track the letter, add mid-journey check-ins, and return when the revisit window arrives.
Log what actually happened, compare prediction to outcome, and pin lessons back onto live cases.
See bias score, blindspots, and predicted-versus-actual trends that sharpen the next decision.
About
Decision Ledger is an independent productivity app for non-trivial personal decisions: purchases, moves, career shifts, relationships, and time investments.
Instead of collecting vague notes and forgetting what you expected, the app gives you a structured loop: weigh the case, price the downside, write to your future self, then revisit the result and learn from it.
The app is designed around clarity, reflection, and calibration rather than noise.
Privacy
Effective date: August 2026
The app stores your decisions, factors, future-self letters, check-ins, and logged outcomes locally on your device.
No account, sign-up, or login is required. The app does not ask for profile data such as name, location, or phone number in order to function.
The app may load curated imagery from public internet sources for visual theming. If those images are unavailable, the interface falls back gracefully and core features remain usable.
The app does not use advertising trackers and does not operate a server that receives your decisions, letters, or outcome history.
Because your records remain on-device, you control them directly. Removing app content or deleting the app removes the associated local records.
Core decision workflows stay usable offline, including created cases, letters, check-ins, and logged outcomes.
